Beautiful set of late-1960s to 1970s African modernist wall plaques, hand-carved from solid hardwood. Deeply carved geometric and symbolic designs with traditional plaster/clay infill to highlight the relief — a hallmark of African decorative art from this era. Solid, heavy pieces with genuine age patina (not mass-produced décor). Work perfectly as a pair and suit modern African, safari-luxe, mid-century, or eclectic interiors.
